Rapidplay Tournament 10.00am Saturday June 13 2026

Prizes: Open £200, £150, £100; U1500 £150, £100, £50; U1000 £100, £75, £50. 

£50 rating prizes for those U2000, U1500 and U1000.

(Prizes subject to sufficient entry fees being received to cover costs and provide prize fund; or prizes calculated pro rata.)

All games ECF rated.

Entry fees: £40 Club members and U18s: £35. 

Players must have current ECF membership at Junior or Gold level.

All entries must be booked online two days before the date.

Maximum entries: 34 in open, 96 in U1500 and U1000.

Free entry for first four titled players.

Time control : 25 minutes + 5 seconds per move.

Indicative Times: Start time 10.00am – Finish 6.00pm with lunch break – Prize giving 6.30pm

Venue: St John’s URC, Lynwood Grove, Orpington BR6 0BG. Very limited on-site parking. 

Nearest bus stop, train station and car park: Orpington Station.

Refreshments: Tea, coffee and sandwiches available at modest costs.
