What do you do when you are not playing chess?
I play and watch football.
Why did you join the club?
I was very impressed with the number of kids in the junior section. I made lots of friends and the club gives me the opportunity to play serious games with seasoned players.
What do you like about chess?
This is only game which lets you meet and play online international matches. Age is no barrier and you can play and defeat adults.
What’s the best thing about being a member?
Lots of friend and supporting seniors.
Tell us something about your successes in chess.
I came 4th in the European youth chess championship in 2016. I won the British chess championship U8 title.

Magnus Carlsen.
