What do you do when you are not playing chess?
I work in finance and have two young children who keep me busy.
What is your role in the club?
Before the pandemic I used to captain the first team in the Kent League – I now captain the first team in the London Online Chess League.
Why did you join the club?
Because its home matches are on Fridays.
What do you like about chess?
It’s a great exercise for the brain and every game is different.
What’s the best thing about being a member?
Being among great people who also love the game.
Who is your chess hero?
Vladimir Kramnik.

The English Opening 1/2/3 by Mihail Marin.
