What do you do when you are not playing chess?
I watch history and economics videos and football.
Why did you join the club?
I was very impressed by the effort being put in by John Cook, the Juniors Co-ordinator; the number of tournaments the club was contesting gave me lots of opportunities to play opponents of different strength and age; and the Friday meeting night was a relaxing wind-down to a hectic week at school.
What do you like about chess?
I have made lots of friends and get to play opponents from across the world.
What’s the best thing about being a member?
Very cooperative members who encourage you to become a better player; and some good competitions.
