What do you do when you are not playing chess?
I’m a web developer. My other hobbies include running and playing the piano.
What do you most like about chess?
I find it to be an incredibly intense and absorbing game – there’s always something to learn from it.
Why did you join the club?
For the social aspect of meeting and playing other local chess players that you can’t do online.
What’s the best thing about being a member?
I get to represent the club at league matches!
Tell us something about your experience and involvement at the club
I’m a fairly new member having joined less than a year ago. I have played one match at Gravesend and thoroughly enjoyed it and am looking forward to playing in more matches.
