Membership Checkout

You have selected the Junior Membership Coaching - Term membership level.

1. Anyone desirous of becoming a member would benefit from club membership if they know the basic rules of chess : how to move the pieces, castle, capture, capture ‘en passant’, and deliver checkmate
2. Club membership: Come for a free taster evening. If you enjoy the club you can then become a junior coaching member
3. Our Coaching sessions for juniors are grouped into Beginners / Improvers, Intermediate, and Advanced levels. We co-opt the Steps Method of chess teaching for all levels of coaching
4. Siblings are half price
5. ECF membership: If you want an official rating, and also to play for the club in external competitions, you will need to also join the English Chess Federation. The first year’s memberships is free of charge to juniors.

The price for membership is £50.00 per term i.e. every 4 Months
